I love that line “Chance favours the connected mind”.
That’s another way of expressing Webster’s and Krone’s philosophy “The time to look for an idea is before you need it”.
I think it echoes the thoughts of the Black Swan theory: if you leave yourself open to/prepared for happy accidents, they will be far more likely to occur.
