Very well directed, nicely written, and a bright spot in a campaign that has become a bit hit-and-miss in the last few years.
Well done.
‘Let me have a go, I can kill him in 30 seconds.’
Lovely stuff. Worthy of increased sales and many awards.
Love these. I actually did a little chuckle (a LOL, if you will) at each of them. And that hasn’t happened with a Lynx ad for a while.
Lovely stuff.
Brilliant stuff.
Chestlehem. Lovely. And five sixtys. Epicissimmo. BBH NY?
Sex sells. Just make it appropriate. This is.
Best ads I’ve seen this year by a country mile. Didn’t see in context though i.e on t.v.
‘Like a Cobra with opposable thumbs’.
Brilliant.
nicely done, well written, and with an insight. Their strategy moves a little bit I see – from “women will follow you” to “you should endure them” 🙂
Very good stuff indeed.
Ben, any chance you would drop the “Rather …” from your head?
Nah
BBH London. I think. Emmanuel put them up on Facebook.
This is ‘Friends’ or even ‘How I Met Your Mother’ territory – over-written, over-acted, self-congratulatory, patronising, tacky, effete, superficial (in a distinctively American way) and scrupulously devoid of wit. If men or women have ever behaved or even thought like this, they deserve every last spurt of whatever that product is called.
Utterly asinine.
Don’t take a sip. Funny.
No. These are trying waaay to hard for me. Over-written. Derivative. Too telegraphing of the joke. Sorry.
“A pilgrimage to Chestlehem”. Brilliant.
I rather enjoyed them.
no beer but the same “real men of genius” thing, without the novelty and with worse writing.
i like it. quite smart. i just guess if the people who actually would use lynx could understand the best jokes.
Nice spots, well written and executed – but am I missing something . Why all the effort? What happened to the lynx effect? Now just using lynx wont get you the girl anymore- you have to use it plus sit through a seven hour play etc etc.
Jeez. Tough crowd.
Wow, the comments really took a turn for the worse about halfway down.
I like them. They are a slightly fresher tone for a Lynx ad. Although it does seem like now they are positioning Lynx as the official body wash of whipped men.
I think some are better than others, but they’re a long, long, long way from shit.
Chestlehem. Groan.
Mister Gash, sorry, you obviously don’t
understand. All those people have written, gotten approved and produced much better stuff in the last month alone.
The Lynx ads or the comments, Ben?
Sporty Girl is definitely the pick. These are really decent. And is that Nic Cage’s voice, or a soundalike? If the former, then it’s the best work he’s done in years.
The comments, of course.
these are excellent. really hits on some great home truths from the lad’s perspective. the party girl one in particular ends superbly. nice camera spin shtuff too.
Re: George – It’s Nick Offerman, who plays Ron Swanson in the sublime “Parks & Recreation”.
A campaign. At last.
Rejoice’th.
@hmmm
get a new name
Whoever was bored or unemployed enough to post a comment about this advertisement in my name, at least have the decency to add a little wit and craft to your words. I haven’t seen the ad, and I have nothing to say about it. Pack it in, you silly sausage, and use your time more to write some lovely adverts instead x
Wow some people lost their sense of humour, but then I guess some people like to criticise for the sake of it. These are brilliant. In fact I’m glad they’ve ditched the ‘lynx effect’. That strategy was tired and predictable. These are charming and well observed. Well done.
I shall delete the other one, Jonathan.
I can’t believe that Burley guy reads the comments section under ads he hasn’t bothered to watch. How odd.
Lynx – For men who’ve been emasculated.
