How did they get “Made from beer” through? It’s so good you’d think someone amongst the
CD/ planning/client fraternity would have canned it.
Or said “Could you think of a way of saying Made From Beer without using the words Made, From and Beer.”
I know you are a stickler for correct grammar. That should have read; Way too stressful to watch.
Of course you knew that. The colon, semi-colon thing I’m not sure on.
I like this a lot. Watched it quite a few times. I just can’t help thinking that it reminds me slightly of an old campaign that heineken did in New york about people being upset about spilling beer. But hey ho. Love it anyway.
are you serious? what a pile of shite, ive seen the exact idea presented to me before and i rejected it. The lads probably got it out of their bottom drawer and dusted it off and of course BP loved it, he loves everything.
its crap.
hats off to the Aussies, they are kicking our arses on beers these days. It wasn’t always that way.
Sorry, why is this good? I don’t understand why everything is in slow motion and to be honest find it boring. The usual cliches for a beer slowed down. Where’s the actual idea? There is no idea here, like the classic Heineken or Carling campaigns. Like the endline but if the US or Australia had that though ‘made from beer’ am sure they’d do something a million times better.
Seriously Kneel?
Carling? Bit shit.
Fosters? Bit shitter.
Calling someone dumb because they think what you think is good is shit? Shittier still.
Get thi head out of the sand sunshine.
Personally I really like the line ‘made from beer’.
It immediately repositions every beer that goes on about it’s ingredients as beer for posers.
(People who sit and savour one beer lovingly all night.)
I assume this is mass consumption beer, just for guys who prefer quantity to quality.
If that’s true, that line’s about right for their brand and their market.
Kneel: The new fosters ad is cack. Good call what a load of wank. No one even says good call, not even aussies. It’s just a bad pun. Made from beer however is genius in it’s simplicity.
Spilt beer? Way to stressful to watch!
Anyone who liked Anton Corbijn’s brilliantly framed ‘Control’ may like this http://filminfocus.com/focusfeatures/film/the_american/
Premise looks run of the mill been done a million times boring to me though.

The Aussies make good beer ads now. The Brits do not. Too much strategy and over thinking in the UK. Not enough fun.
Cracking.

This is rather boring. I don’t like it. What makes it cracking?
Terry, haven’t you seen the very British Carling ads? Or the new Fosters ads (also done by a British agency).
Both campaigns are frighteningly simple and piss all over this “cracker”
I guess you are just dumb. Or forgetful. Probably both.

The fact this is posted shows just how shit our beer ads have gotten.
5 years ago this would’ve been a cockwipe. Today, it’s pretty fucking good.

Great line. Shit ad.
