Either I’ve lost my sense of humour, or both this and the pot noodle ad aren’t funny?
Coming from a truly intergrated background, I often find myself writing ads as well as doing the planning and the account handling.
In my agency, this ad wouldn’t have left the car park.
Where is the long idea?

I laughed at the voodoo doll bit. The thinking and the idea are all very cliched but fuck me, that bit is funny. The long idea here is that if I bet a lot of money that Nick is being silly and winding us up, I will win more money. I have to watch that clown again first though.
This was one of the funniest campaigns in Australia… was… until the account moved agencies to Droga and they released this.
Should be pointed out that the titty poking isn’t being shown on telly. The broadcast cut has him poking her hip as she stands beside him.
Also, not terribly funny, but perfect for the target market. Which is the point, isn’t it?
