One of those ads Americans do so well

A nothing brief leads to a lovely ad.
That’s how it’s done.

That is awesome. Great casting too.
Lovely stuff. Hats off to all involved.
Nice.
I do think Tim & Eric deserve credit for a lot of this kind of thing though.
Who are Tim & Eric? Chums?
more tom kuntz than tim and eric.
@vinny
I hear you, sir. It was the crappy, 90s style art direction (particularly at the ned) that made me think of T&E though.
I also had a theory that that creepy man-child character created as part of the Skittles campaign owed a lot to T&E’s Dr. Steve Brule.
I guess all I’m saying is, there seems to be a lot of T&E influenced stuff coming out the US right now, in the same way our lot were all obsessed with The Fast Show for a time.
Blinkin’ bloody fashions eh…
The story of the loser deserves many repeat views. I am just sorry you have blogged this Ben, as I was going to claim it was mine.
I like it, although this kind of ad has become a ‘house style’ for American advertising. You also see it badly imitated by lesser creatives a lot on the TV over there too.
