It really is a perfect day to watch an ad like this

(Thanks, A.)
It’s clearly an inferior (not least because of the lack of originality) version of Perfect Day.
But then I suppose many of the people this is aimed it were either not born when Perfect Day came out or are too young to remember it.
So this is for them.
And here’s to the next one in 2031 (will it still feature Elton John?).
Imperfect. Gay.
Well, it has been, what… a twenty year recycle? For its lack of originality, it does have some nice styling – although, if I was to guess, I wouldn’t say in 20 years time it would age any better than the original!
It did make me wonder who will be the Evan Dando in this version?
I’d definitely give Paloma Faith one. Just one mind. She’s mad as a hat.
I want my MTV! But with less punch.
It’s a good measure of the Simon-Cowelling of the music industry.
I wonder what are the BBC are hoping we will think or feel as a result of seeing this?
Tingleless.
Not surreal enough to be cool.
Sorry. Couldn’t make it to the end. Truly awful.
meh
Unoriginal generic toss, but that is what our industry has become. The battle is lost, flee for the hills.
The new one is good but the original one is much better. That’s the case for most things…
i love the fact that the BBC can get major celebrities to do things for nowt. this is them maxing that out. i would do one of these a year if i was them. Perfect Day was great but that doesn’t mean this doesn’t work too.
Just cancelled my license fee.
Just about to celebrate the fact that One Direction puffs weren’t in it and they appeared. That’s when I left.
Karmarama finally did something goo- oh no they didn’t.
It’s Ferry Aid for snobs.
That is a brilliant comment.
i love it, its like totes amazeballs i wish one of my stallions had done it.
