For some reason this blog post has been surfacing on social media lately.
It’s a great read if you work in advertising and a great read if you don’t.
The secret is not to give a shit. Oh pretend you do of course but actually don’t give a shit.
Good enough is probably better than they deserve. So write it down, give it to ’em and go home. But don’t forget to pepper your advertising conversations with the word “leverage.” That’s usually enough to fool them. I’ve built a career of sorts on it.
