Loved the first one. Second one not so much.
not sure why but they seem to aim all the Newcastle ads at ad folks. awards? And I cringe every time I see that “no bollocks” line. some things simply will never translate into American. and I don’t want yanks mangling bollocks. please no!

but ad industry will wank over it like crazy.
I can never forgive Heineken for what they’ve done to the heritage of this wonderful beer I used to know, and love, as my own hometown-brew.
It’s not even brewed in Newcastle anymore! It’s brewed in the same place they make John Smith’s (who, funnily enough, they’ve ripped their campaign idea from)!
I’m so livid, I’ve even started using exclamation marks!
i think it deserves best of show because it’s droga 5… i mean because it’s a brave piece of communication.
I always thought ‘meh’ was a pretty rubbish bit of critique. Until now.
