Lego ad break

On Sunday evening Lego bought the entire ad break and remade some commercials in a Legoesque fashion:
Interesting.
Almost as interesting as this, done in 2012:
(Thanks, P.)
I await the Ex-Lax ad break, featuring popular commercials made out of animated poo, with bated breath.
Sorry Ben, didn’t hear you over the sound of that shotgun that just went off in my mouth.
I hadn’t seen that coorsdown idea before. Infinitely better than Lego. Thanks for sharing. M
No worries, Mark. Best of luck in your new job. B
Did it make you more or less likely to watch the Lego film?
For me, less.
A bit less, but I’ll see it whatever happens because I’ll have to take the kids.
Having worked with Phd I think it’s safe to say they couldn’t give a Castelmaine XXXX if this makes you want to see the film or not. Doing what’s right for the client was always second to doing what’s right for Phd (which usually involved desperately searching for media ‘innovations’ and selling them to the client before they had any idea what the creative idea was). You can bet this will feature strongly in their agency of the year award submissions. Love those guys.

As for the Lego movie, saw a preview at the week-end with a 12 and 4 years old. Its really good fun and everything is awesome…
I don’t know if I could be made to want to watch a lego film more or less.
