Travelocity ‘Moustache’ (not online), Guardian ‘Wimbledon’ (couldn’t find it online), VW ‘Life In A Day’, (ditto), Kleenex Velvet ‘Factory’ (why will no fucker put their ads online?), Observer ‘From Abba to Zappa‘, Levi’s ‘Bike‘, Playstation ‘Golfers vs Pornstars‘, Citroen ‘Transformer‘, Orange ‘Swayze‘, Orange ‘Astin‘ and John Smiths ‘Showstopper‘.
Good year, huh? I could also have included other ads from Orange, Levi’s and Life on The Playstation, but that’s fifteen corkers already, and with the high quality of the HoFers, it could be the best year overall.
i have to say. honda “grrr” gets my vote for best UK ad of all time. it’s for fucking diesel engines!!! and they turned it into THAT! imaginary hat gets doffed.
Not forgetting this:

The Playstation ads were just rip-offs of Big Train…
interesting stuff this hall-of-fame ben. which agencies and teams have had the most mentions? worth a league table perhaps?
David. And Honda Cog was a “rip” of? And Sony Balls was a “rip” of? And so on and so on back to Hamlet Photo Booth being a “rip” of? Ads “rip” from culture and the good ones adapt them and make them work for the brand. Playstation, Honda, Sony and co all did that in my opinion
Well done Goliath. You’ve chosen to give yourself the name of the character that loses to David in the bible story. Yet again, David’s on the right side.
Loved the Three stuff. The singing cherry spot pretty much paved the way for the simplicity and randomness of gorilla etc.
